Functions
Super Stiff Foam is a stable high foaming agent that is used in water well and mineral exploration drilling
and can be used in other applications requiring foam.

rate. Less re-drilling of cuttings ensures longer bit life. Acts as a dust suppressor. Has a high foaming quality.

Applications - Mixture with water

Normal Air drilling Approx 0.5 to 1.5 litres per 1000litres of water
Mist Drilling " 2.5 to 4.0 litres per 1000 litres of water
Foam Drilling " 8 to 10 litres per 1000 litres of water
Slug operation " 0.5 to 2.0 litres poured down hole
and flushed These are just suggestions as to the quantity to be used for various applications.
Variations can be made at the operators’ discretion.

Very salty water may require twice as much KSSF than fresh water. Mix with fresh water before adding
salt water. Mixed uniformly in water tank and injected in the air stream at a uniform rate of 1 - 1.5 litres
per minute.

Overview - Klear "Drill" Foam

KLEAR Drilling Fluid is similar to the Super Stiff Foam, but dark brown in colour, and is made from
waste chemicals. It can be used as a foaming agent with great effect, or mixed with other agents to increase
viscosity. Bentonite and Guar Gum can be added for this purpose.

Packaging

KLEAR Super Stiff Foam and KLEAR Drilling Fluid can be supplied in, either 25litre plastic containers,
205 litre drums or 1000 kg vats.
