"KLEAR" SUPER STIFF FOAM
Description:
"KLEAR" super Stiff Foam is processed to mix with fresh water and salt water. A biodegradable clear liquid foaming agent for air drilling, rotary drilling and down the hole hammer DTH drilling operations.
Functions:
Super Stiff Foam is a stable high foaming agent that combines the advantage of mud drilling with those of air drilling, thus overcoming the difficulties in either air or mud drilling in Rotary operations. Some difficulties encountered can be:
- High Porosity, with resultant loss in circulation.
- Formation of Clay, Gravel, and or fractured areas, causing dirty hole.
- Difficult to maintain a clean hole especially at the bit face.

- Maintains a cleaner stable hole.
- Larger and more definite cuttings are obtained.
- Maximum penetration rate.
- Less re-drilling of cuttings ensures longer bit life.
- Acts as a dust suppressor.
- Has a high foaming quality.

- Can be used in salt water and fresh water.

Applications - Mixture with water:
- Normal Air drilling - Approx 0.5 to 1.5 litres per 1000 litres of water.
- Mist Drilling - Approx 2.5 to 4.0 litres per 1000 litres of water.
- Foam Drilling - Approx 8 to 10 litres per 1000 litres of water.
- Slug operation - Approx 0.5 to 2.0 litres poured down hole and flushed.
These are just suggestions as to the quantity to be used for various applications. Variations can be made at the operator´s discretion.
Very salty water may require twice as much KSSF than fresh water. Mix with fresh water before adding salt water. Mixed uniformly in water tank and injected in the air stream at a uniform rate of 1 - 1.5 litres per minute.
"KLEAR" DRILL FOAM
KLEAR Drill Foam is similar to the Super Stiff Foam, a foaming agent used for improving drilling conditions. Eliminates bit balling and build up of Clay formations.
Very similar to Super Stiff Foam, it Increases Penetration, acts as a Dust Suppressant, and improves air carrying capacity, bringing up definite cuttings from bore.
Packaging:
KLEAR Super Stiff Foam and KLEAR Drill Foam can be supplied in, either 25litre plastic containers, 205 litre drums or 1000 kg vats.
